Day 1: Ha Giang City – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van
Morning: Leave Ha Giang City. Wind through Bac Sum Pass and stop at Quan Ba Heaven Gate to view the Twin Mountains.
Afternoon: Cruise through the pine forests of Yen Minh. Conquer the iconic Tham Ma Pass and visit the H’mong King’s Palace to learn about the history of the “Opium King.”
Evening: Dinner and overnight in Dong Van Ancient Town.
Day 2: Dong Van – Lung Cu Flag Tower – Lo Lo Chai Village – Ma Pi Leng Pass
Morning: Journey to Lung Cu Flag Tower, the northernmost point of Vietnam. Visit Lo Lo Chai, a fairytale-like village of the Lo Lo ethnic people.
Afternoon: Conquer the majestic Ma Pi Leng Pass. Enjoy the panoramic view of the mountains before heading down to a homestay in Pa Vi Village (Meo Vac).
Evening: Enjoy a local dinner in the cozy atmosphere of the H’mong community.
Day 3: Meo Vac – Nho Que River – Mau Due – Du Gia Village
Morning: Take a boat trip on the emerald Nho Que River, passing through the deep Tu San Canyon.
Afternoon: Ride through the rugged and “off-the-beaten-path” landscapes of Mau Due towards Du Gia. This is one of the most scenic driving stretches of the loop.
Evening: Experience a traditional “Family Dinner” with local corn wine and folk music in Du Gia.
Day 4: Du Gia Waterfall – Lung Tam Village – Ha Giang City
Morning: Refresh yourself at Du Gia Waterfall. Then, head to Lung Tam Linen Village to see the delicate hand-weaving art of the H’mong women.
Afternoon: Follow the winding roads through stunning valleys back to Ha Giang City.
4:00 PM: Tour ends. Catch the sleeper bus back to Hanoi.
